and a 5th ad, CG Ants will Deliver in shot to form a home. Before Production start, get the shot confirmed by drawing different solutions, as below shows a Taobao Ant character look in shot when it's in different scale proportions.
The Original Master copies of Character Facial expression Design were missing!! Yxx claims that the day Media and CG Reportors came interview the making of, suddenly a shadow rush to his rear end and grabs !! then, my only copy of drawings disappear from his workstation forever.
Afterward, I was told our motion team had tried to stop that shadow thief with japanese swords (Props from movie " Dead or Alive "," Ultra Violet "and "Blood") , but that's another story......
Storyboard is fun to draw, and I like to make storyboards into motion board even more, it present itself better in visual and duration, if time (budget) is affortable, I'll go for an Animatic of course. Here are some of my pass works I've done in Menfond, Enjoy.
Cnice, a well known brand of ToothPaste in China, I've done a few of this ad, the Client was very happy with the Director and our Production team. and here I found some and scanned, take a look.
This is not the first "Cnice" ad I worked on, here are some drawings on character study for our production team to work on. Say the "Grass hat" for the boy, Client wanted a new look for their well known Product Characters without blocking his hair.
I was also the Project Manager of this ad, I went through the Original Storyboard from the Ad agent (I didn't keep the original copy of storyboard coz it's ... ... just concept idea, haha.) and did some thumbnails, Layouts, poses, animation design.
With Miss "Left" from Menfond Creative Team's Help became a full colour Storyboard amazingly! also in PhotoShop layers, and result a fine animatic to present. Here shows one of Menfond's ad in progress Clip done by little me : D .
These are some character requested by the Client, and could be the next Cnice ad.
When project got to the production stage, I became an Animation.
As Production continue, editing, modify, add in, cut out....then, final.
